Federal Highway Administration sends out a total of $61 billion to all 50 states.
The Department of Transportation announced the third round of funding for America’s roads, bridges, and tunnels, distributing $61 billion to all 50 states for the 2024 fiscal year. Managed by the department’s Federal Highway Administration, this funding will go directly to state and local governments, allowing them to locally manage the projects necessary to improve their communities’ critical infrastructure.
“Long-needed major improvements are coming to America’s network of roads, bridges, and highways,” said Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. “Thanks to President Biden, we are proud to deliver funding to modernize roads and bridges across America–strengthening our supply chains, creating good-paying jobs, and connecting Americans to every corner of this country.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Buttigieg and Transportation Department officials as they allocate infrastructure funding.
- For Administrator Shailen Bhatt as he heads the Federal Highway Administration.
- For wisdom for state and local leaders as they utilize the transportation infrastructure funding.
